Learning Management System

The Office of Congressional Workplace Rights (OCWR) has redesigned its Learning Management System (LMS). Previous LMS users will need to register for a new account using their .gov e-mail, and establish a unique password. For more information, visit our FAQ page. If you have any further questions, please contact the OCWR’s Outreach and Education Team at OCWRtraining@ocwr.gov.

The Office of Congressional Workplace Rights (OCWR) offers training modules through its Learning Management System (LMS). In order to enroll in a course through the LMS, employees must register for a free account. After completing a module, the LMS will generate a certificate of completion.

The OCWR currently offers the following modules via its LMS portal:

Recognizing and Preventing Discrimination and Harassment in the Workplace

This course provides a detailed overview of workplace discrimination, harassment, and retaliation prohibited by the CAA, and examines the roles that employees, managers, and bystanders play in preventing offensive conduct and reporting or correcting behaviors that could contribute to a hostile work environment. This course meets the requirements of S.Res. 330, for Senate staff.

Preventing Sexual Harassment in the Congressional Workplace

This module is designed to help recognize and effectively respond to offensive workplace behaviors based on sex that can lead to a hostile work environment.

Preventing Disability Discrimination in the Congressional Workplace

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) protects people from job discrimination because of disability. This training module on disability discrimination in the workplace is presented by the Office of Congressional Workplace Rights. Established in 1995 by the Congressional Accountability Act, the Office of Congressional Workplace Rights administers workplace laws – including the ADA – for the legislative branch.
