Today’s workers are living longer, staying healthier, and retiring later than at any time in history. Despite their abundant experience and important contributions to the workplace, older workers may be subject to ageist behavior. This training module examines the relationship between ageism and age discrimination; explores the protections, prohibitions, and legal standards of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA); and proposes strategies to prevent ageism and age discrimination in the workplace.

Note: Registration is required for this event. This training is for current employees of the legislative branch of the federal government. Registrants who do not use their .gov email address may have their registration declined.
