This training session explains the role of the Office of Congressional Workplace Rights (OCWR) in administering and enforcing the Congressional Accountability Act (CAA), outlines the rights and responsibilities of covered legislative branch employees under the CAA (including the protections against harassment, discrimination, intimidation, and reprisal), and sets forth the OCWR’s administrative dispute resolution procedures and the necessary deadlines for covered employees to file a claim with the OCWR.
Note: This training is for current employees of the legislative branch of the federal government. Registrants who do not use their .gov e-mail address may have their registration declined. This training does not substitute for the House-mandated training for Members, Officers, full-/part-time staff, interns, detailees, and fellows. All other legislative branch staff may check with their employing offices to see whether this training will satisfy their offices’ requirements.
